Accounts and Payments

  • By law, Florida Veterinary Hospital is not allowed to grant any credit or accounts (National Credit Act – Act 34 of 2005).
  • Upfront deposits of 50% are required and full settlement of the outstanding bill is expected at the time of discharge.
  • Florida Veterinary Hospital is a privately-owned veterinary hospital, registered with the SAVC. We have no affiliation with the SPCA or the state veterinary department. Florida Veterinary Hospital receives no subsidies or grants and relies on customer payments to continue to provide a professional service. In this regard, we encourage medical aid for pets.
  • Please feel free to phone or visit every day to enquire about your pet’s wellbeing as well as your account balance.
  • No animal in need will ever be turned away.

Financial Constraints: We acknowledge that not everyone can afford to pay upfront, but still would like the best diagnostics and treatment options available within their budget. You are welcome to contact our Practise Manager, Tracy Topper at 011-679-1042 (between 8h00 and 14h00 daily) to discuss one of the following options:

  • Deposit and full settlement at discharge
  • Approved Mediwallet payment
  • Approved Mediconnect payment
